A familiar stop on the road up to the Troodos Mountains for more than 50 years, Makris Restaurant is now run by the third generation, Anna Maria and Christos. Their traditional ‘mageirefta’ plates based on grandma’s recipes and local ingredients, are served among the tall pines, with the open terrace in summer and the fireplace taking over in winter. Once you discover the place, you’ll know why it has stayed a favorite for so long.
