Omodos celebrates the opening of its newly renovated village square

Omodos marked an important milestone on 23rd July with the official inauguration of its newly renovated village square and part of its traditional center. Residents, visitors and local officials gathered to celebrate the completion of the project, which gives one of Cyprus' most loved villages a refreshed public space while preserving its traditional character.

The inauguration ceremony was led by the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, highlighting the significance of the project for both the village and the wider region.

The evening brought the community together to celebrate a new chapter for Omodos, with the renovated square set to welcome locals and visitors alike for everyday village life, festivals and future events.
