George's Daughter & Son Bakery & Cafe

Located at the entrance of the village centre just after the public parking, this family-run café and bakery pair offer a glimpse into a tradition that spans generations. Andrea runs the café, baking the homemade cakes, sweets and snacks that she serves throughout the day, while her brother oversees the bakery next door. There, fresh bread is baked daily using a traditional oven and technique’s passed down from the siblings’ grandparents. Alongside the homemade treats found in the café, the bakery shelves are stocked with traditional local products including arkatena, shoushoukos, palouze, koulouria, and glazed nuts, all made in-house and displayed in a way that reflects the care behind them. Together, the two spaces create an easy stop for coffee, something sweet, and a taste of Omodos’ baking traditions.
