Kazaniasmata in Arsos

Discover the tradition of zivania distillation at Kazaniasmata, a celebration of autumn in Arsos. 

Watch the process from start to finish, from filling and lighting the cauldron to distillation and measuring the alcohol content, then sample zivania with its traditional accompaniments. 

The day’s program also includes local product tastings, art and photography exhibitions, a visit to the village’s distillation workshops, and walks through the picturesque streets and the Six Fountains nature trail. 

Children can also take part in the Passport for the Little Zivania Explorers workshop, from 10:30 to 11:15. Reservations are required for the children’s workshop at 25 943 223.

The event is organized by the Arsos Women’s Cultural Organization.
