Themistokli's Tavern

Hidden among the stone streets of Omodos, this tavern has changed very little over the years – in the best way. Guests arrive beneath a flowering bower before stepping into a stone-paved garden and breezy, veranda-style space that suits the slower rhythm of village dining. The menu offers traditional local flavors, with recipes that have remained the same for decades, from slow-cooked stifado to homemade desserts that vary from visit to visit. House wine and local herbs are part of the experience, as Mrs. Chrysoulla and her son Themis carry on a family tradition that spans more than 30 years.
