In the village of Mandria, Strofi Stin Geusi is very much a family story. What began with a grandfather and grandmother is now carried forward by brothers Zinonas and Michalis, the third generation behind the business. In the kitchen, their mother Maria continues to prepare many of the recipes that shaped their childhood. Charcoal-grilled dishes, Cypriot meze, summer ‘anthous’ and Sunday lamb souvla remain at the heart of the menu, while the spacious restaurant also hosts live music nights, celebrations, and village gatherings. With a team made up entirely of locals, the taverna remains closely connected to the community it serves.
