Psilo Dentro Restaurant

Tucked beneath the towering plane trees of Platres, the working trout farm and mountain restaurant Psilo Dentro is one of those places where the setting is as much a part of the experience as the food itself. 

The gentle sound of the stream beside the restaurant and nearby Caledonia Falls creates a peaceful backdrop, making it a popular stop after a walk or a drive through the mountains. 

The menu ιs built around traditional Cypriot dishes served as individual plates rather than meze, with fresh trout from the neighboring trout farm among its best-known specialties, alongside pork chops and the ever-popular Sunday lamb souvla.

Now run by brothers Andros and Pavlos, the restaurant continues the family tradition their mother Elisavet revived more than four decades ago.
