Linos Winery

Situated just above Omodos, surrounded by vineyard slopes leading to the Troodos foothills, is the family-run, Linos Winery. It is headed by Mr. George, sixth generation of the Herodotou family, who carries forward a long winemaking tradition that is also known for producing Cyprus’ original blue wine, a vivid, unusual wine that has become its signature, not just in Cyprus but also worldwide. Visitors can taste wines with local platters, explore the working winery and vineyards, or relax in a shaded courtyard under a majestic, 150-year old oak tree and enjoy the wide-ranging mountain views beyond. Pre-booked tours are available through the estate, including vineyard visits and rides on an old, traditional bus. The adjacent shop offers local products and wines for visitors to take home.

• Pre-booking is required for wine tasting and tours from 13:30 - 15:00
• Organised tours for groups: One of a kind experience which is mostly taking place in September and October and includes a full tour from production to tasting
