Aetofolia Nikola's Forest Houses

High above Moniatis, surrounded by a pine forest, Aetofolia Nikola's Forest Houses offers a peaceful mountain escape with sweeping views across the landscape. Built from the ground up by Nikolas and his parents, Mr Christos and Mrs Popi, the family has created a collection of wooden chalets that feel deeply connected to their surroundings. Even the trees cleared to make way for the project were used to craft much of the furniture inside, giving each chalet and the surrounding area a genuine sense of place.

The complex features:

• The two-bedroom ‘Rodia’ chalet
• Two one-bedroom chalets ‘Dafni’ and ‘Elia’
• Three A-frame chalets ‘Kidonia’, ‘Mirsini’, and ‘Androuklia 

The chalets are all named after the trees that surround them, and they all include their own free parking spot, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with a sofa bed, a WC with a shower and toiletries, linens, air conditioning and wood-burning stoves, TV, free Wi-Fi, and a shared BBQ. Guests can unwind among the pines, enjoy breakfast or coffee at Eliza’s Dream Café, and experience the quiet rhythm of mountain life.
